St. Paul Cathedral will celebrate a Mass for Peace and Justice and remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The national holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be celebrated on Monday, January 15th.
Following the Mass, the Race & Reconciliation Dialogue Group of Saint Paul Cathedral parish will host coffee and donuts in the parish social hall. Reverend Carmen A. D’Amico MDiv, Senior Parochial Vicar, will be the guest speaker.
While serving as the pastor of St. Benedict the Moor in the Hill District, Fr. D’Amico founded AJAPO (Acculturation, Justice, Access and Peace Outreach) which assists refugees and immigrants from Africa, the Afro-Caribbean islands and other immigrant/refugee populations.
Everyone is invited to attend.
